"Only Jesus" Casting Crowns
Make it count, leave a mark, build a name for yourself Dream your dreams, chase your heart, above all else Make a name the world remembers But all an empty world can sell is empty dreams I got lost in the light when it was up to me To make a name the world remembers But Jesus is the only name to remember And I, I don't want to leave a legacy I don't care if they remember me Only Jesus And I, I've only got one life to live I'll let every second point to Him Only Jesus All the kingdoms built, all the trophies won Will crumble into dust when it's said and done 'Cause all that really mattered Did I live the truth to the ones I love? Was my life the proof that there is only One Whose name will last forever? And I, I don't want to leave a legacy I don't… |
"The Hiding Place" John Michael Talbot
You are my hiding place, O Lord You saved me in my distress You are my hid-ing place You save me from distress Y-o-u surround my soul With cries of deliverance Let every good man pray to you In his hour of need Flood wa-ters may reach high But him they shall not reach Let every good man pray In his hour of need You are my hiding place, O Lord You gaze into the se-crets of my soul A hidden secret wastes my frame I groan through the night and cry Through the day I will confess my sin My guilt I will not hide I will confess my pride And God will forgive You are my Hiding place, O Lord You gaze into the se-crets of my soul You are my Hiding place, O Lord |

"He is Alive" Don Francisco
The gates and doors were barred and all the windows fastened down, I spent the night in sleeplessness and rose at every sound, Half in hopeless sorrow half in fear the day, Would find the soldiers crashing through to drag us all away. Then just before the sunrise I heard something at the wall, The gate began to rattle and a voice began to call, I hurried to the window and looked down to the street, Expecting swords and torches and the sound of soldiers feet, There was no one there but Mary so I went down to let her in, John stood there beside me as she told us were she'd been, She said they moved him in the night and none of us knows where, The stones been rolled away and now his body isn't there. We both ran toward the garden then John ran on ahead, We found the stone and the empty tomb just the way that Mary said, But the winding sheet they wrapped him in was just an empty shell, And how or where they'd taken him was more than I could tell. Something strange had happened there but what I did not know, John believed a miracle but I just turned to go, Circumstance and speculation couldn't lift me very high, Cause I'd seen them crucify him and then I'd watched him die, Back inside the house again all the guilt and anguish came, Everything I'd promised him just added to my shame, But at last it came to choices I denied I knew his name, Even If he was alive it wouldn't be the same. But suddenly the air was filled with a strange and sweet perfume, Light that came from everywhere drove shadows from the room, Jesus stood before me with his arms held open wide, And I fell down on my knees and clung to him and cried, He raised me to my feet and as I looked into his eyes, Love was shining out from him like sunlight from the sky, Guilt and my confusion disappeared in sweet release, And every fear I'd ever had just melted into peace. He's alive, He's alive, He's alive and I'm forgiven, Heavens gates are open wide. He's alive, He's alive, He's alive and I'm forgiven, Heavens gates are open wide. He's alive, He's alive, He's alive and I'm forgiven, Heavens gates are open wide. He's alive! |
"It Is Finished" PETRA
In the heat of the early morning On a hill they call the Skull The roaring of the angry mob had settled to a lull All eyes were cast upon the man whose hands and feet were bound They saw him cry in anguish when they heard the hammer pound They saw the bloody woven thorns with which His head was crowned They watched the bloody cross of wood be dropped into the ground The soldiers gambled for His clothes, they watched them win and lose They saw the sign above His head that said "King of the Jews" (It is finished) And the sky grew black as the night (It is finished) And the people scattered in fright The work had been done, redemption had been won The war was over without a fight It is finished They searched His face for anger, for vengeance in His stare Instead of eyes that burned with hate a look of love was there He prayed for their forgiveness and bowed His battered head And no one knew the meaning of the final words He said The provision has been made The foundation has been laid He paid the ransom due and tore the temple veil in two And opened up the way for me and you It is finished |

"You Say" Lauren Daigle
I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low? Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know, ooh oh You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing You say I am strong when I think I am weak And You say I am held when I am falling short And when I don't belong, oh, You say I am Yours And I believe (I), oh, I believe (I) What You say of me (I) I believe The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity, ooh oh You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing You say I am strong when I think I am weak And You say I am held when I am falling short When I don't belong, oh, You say I am Yours And I believe (I), oh, I believe (I) What You say of me (I) Oh, I believe Taking all I have and now I'm layin' it at Your feet You'll have every failure God, You'll have every victory, ooh oh You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing You say I am strong when I think I am weak You say I am held when I am falling short When I don't belong, oh, You say I am Yours And I believe (I), oh, I believe (I) What You say of me (I) I believe Oh, I believe (I), yes, I believe (I) What You say of me (I) I believe (oh) |
